Curriculum Overview
Bible
·      Purposeful Design Bible curriculum reinforced with workbook
·      Begin each day with lessons from the Bible
·      Students learn about the saving power of Jesus Christ along with Biblical study tools to understand doctrinal subjects
·      Memory Verse each week- not just memorize, but develop understanding
·      Prayer is practiced on a daily basis
·      Scripture Scrapbooks
·      Interactive lessons






Language Arts
·      Bob Jones curriculum that incorporates the parts of speech and creative writing
·      They have ample opportunities to write a variety of ways such as: friendly letters, business letters, persuasive essays, compare and contrast essays, book reports, tall tales, research reports, etc.

·      Novels and biographies of interesting Christian people

·      Lessons and tests are taken individually at their own pace

·      Problem solving strategies
·      They master multiplication and division as well as develop an understanding of fractions, decimals, geometry and early algebra. This is a fifth grade-leveled course.

Science
·      Sciences of botany, the moon, electricity, magnetism and machines

Social Studies
·      History of Texas
·      Our curriculum allows the history of Texas to incorporate many different subjects like math, science, art, drama, literature, and writing.
