MOON PHASES
Fourth Grade students have been learning about the MOON.  A two-day lab full of stations including: Explore It, Illustrate It, Read It, Watch It, Organize It, Write It, Research It, and Assess It, really peaked their knowledge.  They have also been writing moon poems full of facts, thoughts and creativity.  One interesting question that was raised in inquiry session was, "What phase of the moon was showing when Adam and Eve were placed in the garden?"  Now that's a great question!!

Oil Spill Presentation

On Friday, February 5, Mr. Willborn visited the students of CCS.  Mr. Willborn has worked in the oil and gas industry for over 20 years and was in charge of a clean up crew following the BP oil spill.  This was a great opportunity for our students as he shared his knowledge and offered a real-life connection to our Sci Tech oil spill activities.  Thanks to Mr. Willborn and Mr. Ingraham, who invited him to come, for your amazing efforts!
